The Dream, not Deferred!

Yesterday when I was walking out of the voting place with the boys, I was telling them that I want then to grow up in a world where a black man as president will be a celebrated and accepted norm -- I don't want them to grow up as I did, sitting across from that old yellowing poster of "America's Great Fore-Fathers" dozens of pictures of old, white men, who stare back with "you can only become one of us, if you are already, one of us...". As of yesterday, that "unspoken rule" no longer holds true!

I am so proud of our country, and I am so proud of Ohio! :)
